14th Kumbira 2010

KUMBIRA is headed by Cagayan de Oro Hotel and Restaurant Association (COHARA) every year in participation with the annual fiesta. With the City Government Resolution No. 7314 – 2005, the third week of August is declared as “KUMBIRA WEEK”. Kumbira is a Visayan word that means a feast or a food festival. Since Kumbira has earned the reputation of being one of the most exciting culinary events in the country, it boasts of a very prestigious roster of judges who take turns in acting as such in the competitions.
